Code Of Ethics

The University Sales Center Alliance (USCA) is composed of universities that have established sales centers/programs, consisting of appropriate facilities and faculty, dedicated to professional sales education and research. USCA members are committed to upholding the highest standards of conduct, including, but not limited to, the following:

  • USCA members will adhere to any code of ethics or conduct adopted by their host university, college, school, and/or department.
  • USCA members will adhere to the USCA’s code of ethics and will not tolerate any member who does not comply with it.
  • USCA members will consider themselves “trustees” of the USCA and will strive to ensure its well-maintenance, financial security, growth, and operation in the best interests of its members and the sales profession.
  • USCA members will openly declare any conflicts of interest between their university or personal matters and their USCA membership, and will abstain from discussion or voting when appropriate.
  • USCA members will not use the organization for personal advantage or that of their friends, relatives, or colleagues.
  • USCA members will refrain from discussing or sharing any internal confidential discussions outside of the organization.
  • USCA members will refrain from interfering with the duties of duly elected officers or undermining their authority to fulfill their tasks.
  • USCA members will uphold the highest standards of professional conduct when interacting with students who participate in their activities.
  • USCA members will maintain the highest standards of accountability and transparency in soliciting and utilizing financial support from their host university and corporate sponsors.
  • USCA members will uphold the highest standards of professional conduct with firms and organizations that recruit their students and will not tolerate any firm or organization that does not treat their students in the same manner.
